Addisen's Christmas Dance recital

Well, we had our 2nd successful dance recital. Addie's teacher is wonderful. She danced to Frosty the Snowman and as you can see by the expressions on their faces they all did great. Addie asked when it was all over where her flowers were... her dad has started an expected tradition.

Ward Christmas Breakfast

Saturday morning we had our Ward Christmas breakfast. Shane with his "english" accent was asked to read a Christmas Story to the kids in hopes of Santa Claus coming.

Addisen sat on his lap and told him about a hello kitty chair she wanted for her bear, and Bridger wouldn't get within 3 feet. Better luck next year. Merry Christmas.

Thanksgiving Afternoon

Bridger loved to wear grandpa's cowboy boots, I think he wants a pair of his own.

Addie won the wishbone, so her wish could come true.

Grandma Sage and Addie worked on a gingerbread house for hours...we wore grandma out. How many more pieces of candy can we fit on the house. One more.....

Thanksgiving Morning Turkey Trot...

We started the morning off with a 5K...running on ice and snow went a little slow.

Happy Happy Halloween

Ponies Ride Anyone?

We went to a small Pumpkin "patch" with Kendell last weekend. the kids got to ride ponies, bounce in the bounce house and get their faces painted. All for a few dollars...best money spent. Can't put a price on a smile.

Happy Halloween

From Halloween we got rain rain and more rain, Addie and Bridger made it up one street and then she said she was soaking wet...I want to go home...

Jager was here for our ward trunk or treat and we had a great time getting our faces painted .

Shane and I decided to take a stay- cation for UEA and experience the Homestead in Midway, UT. So we loaded to kids up and headed for the mountains. Wanting some company we asked Sam and Jenn to come with us.
We stayed in "The Barn" the room had a view of the lake and a big tree with yellow leaves, that kept the kids busy. Although Bridger and Kade did find the sand.

Happy Birthday Shane...you're how old? We went with a golf theme.

Addisen's first day of preschool. She was so excited to have Ms. Cami again. This year we decided to have her write her own sign, so we could see how much her writing has changed.

Centerville Waterfall

Shane and I took the kids on a hike last Sat. The waterfall was amazing and Addie hiked all the way up and back.

Sighting at the Fair.

The kids and I went to the fair today, and all Addisen wanted to see was the pigs. Lucky they had some. Baby ones at that. She was a little nervous at first, due to a goat trying to eat her blanket, but warmed up. "Grandpa, I want to ride a horsey." "I never." kept coming out of her mouth.
We didn't try the deep fried chocolate covered bacon but wanted to let Dad know it really did exist.

July 24th Bountiful 5K

Jager and I ran the July 24th 5K last Sat. It was Jager's first time and he did great. He helped me take 4 minutes off my last 5K. It is nice to have a running partner. Maybe he'll be excited to run another one.

Visiting Grandma Sage and Grandpa Steve in Cedar

Well, we are off to St George and Cedar. Addie keeps asking when we get to go to Grandma Sage's house and to the farm to see the chickens and horses. She made a couple trips to the farm with Grandpa and spent hours giving grandma a dance recital. We swam everyday we were stayed at Papa and Gram's Condo and even played in the tiny pool we brought, oh thank heaven for water when your in St. George.
